SUITE ONE

Also known as the Godfather Suite after the giant Italian 'Godfather' original release movie poster that looks down on this AVID DS Nitris v10 online Edit Suite. The Suite is fully digital format ready - RED, XDCAM, P2 etc.

Like most of the suites at Macmillan Adam, in Suite 1 you can choose whether you want a light and bright view of the Gulf and Palm Island, or whether you prefer it blacked out. Like everything else at Macmillan Adam, the client chooses.

MACHINE ROOM

All the suites are integrated with a comprehensive range of VTR's including HDCAM, HDV, Digital Betacam, DVCAM, Betacam SP, DVD and BluRay.

SUITES TWO

These are the very latest AVID Media Composer 5 Adrenaline Suites. They are all fiber optically-connected to each other and to the AVID central storage. This means that they all have instant access to the same clips. Big jobs that have to be completed to a tight deadline can be worked on by multiple Editors working in multiple Suites. They also all have After Effects. And like Suite 1, Suites 2-5 are fully digital format ready.

That makes them sound very samey - they aren't. They are all individually designed. Suite 3 is completely blacked out with no view. Suite 4 is dominated by a vast original release movie poster of 'Some Like It Hot'. Suite 2 has the facility's largest client monitor and Suite 5 has a sea view to die for.

And they are all very client friendly - each of these Suites is equipped with the unbelievably comfortable Humanscale Freedom® chairs and black leather sofas.

LIBRARY & ARCHIVES

This is the heart of Macmillan Adam. We hold over 5,000 Master tapes and hard drives on behalf of clients.

A computerized Access® database runs the library providing instant reference, retrieval and hard copy reports.

AUDIO SUITES

The Audio Suite is equipped with ProTools®, and an ISDN line for recording voice talent from all over the world with live direction. It also has a Sound Booth for locally recording voices.

ANIMATION & GRAPHICS

This Suite supports the work of the five main Edit Suites. It is comprehensively equipped with Maya Complete, Boujour, Fusion and After Effects.
